I went back to the orthopedist for a follow-up. They were concerned about the amount of pain I'm still having and did another round of x-rays. X-rays reveal that I have a stress fracture in my first metatarsal. I have another month of limited walking. I shouldn't ride the bike, and, of course, I can't dance.
